How We Help Schools
Serving Education Through
Collaboration and Innovation
The Central Minnesota Educational Research and Development Council, cmERDC, was formed in 1965 and is a joint powers organization with 501c3 non-profit status. Our organizational mission is to provide cooperative services to public and private schools and school districts, higher education institutions, and other governmental units and agencies interested in the development of quality educational programs.
With offices in St. Cloud and Shoreview, we have partnered with Minnesota educational organizations for over 50 years and understand their unique needs. In addition to serving those in Minnesota, we also strive to impact educational organizations across the country by providing quality products and services to organizations that positively impact their students and staff.
Because we have a team of over 50 talented individuals (many of whom have experience working in PK-12 education as educators, administrators, and business office professionals); educational organizations benefit from our rare combination of real-world experience, innovation, and collaboration.
cmERDC specializes in ongoing communication with staff in these organizations, which helps us to truly understand their goals & challenges. Once we fully understand those things, our research and development teams work with organizational teams to create real-world solutions that otherwise would not be available.
Below you will see a brief overview of some of the services and product categories we offer. We invite you to review the information on our site and contact us with any questions about our existing resources or if you have a unique need that you’d like to discuss.
